My dog is part of our family. Is he allowed at the resort?

We love pets at Allegany Mountain Resort! Allegany Mountain Resort is a pet friendly resort. We have some rules for the protection and safety of everyone concerned. Take note and follow the rules. Only three (3) pets allowed per site. Pets need to be on a leash at all times and are not allowed to run free. Pets must be cleaned up after they soil. They must be kept quiet from prolonged barking so neighbors can enjoy their peace and quiet. Do not leave your dogs unattended or home alone in the resort. You are the source of your dog’s energy and you are their role model. Please be courteous and respectful of your neighbors who want to enjoy their restful vacations too.

We don’t want to bring our camper this weekend. Do you have cabins for us to rent?

Allegany Mountain Resort provides a variety of lodging accommodation rental units which are nestled in nature’s beauty overlooking the magnificent Rainbow Lake. Our rentals come in one, two or three bedroom units with living room, full kitchen and bathroom facilities. (Sleeps 2 to 6). Call Reservations at (716) 699-2352 to book your cabin.

We travel south for the Winter. Does the Resort have permanent sites for us to use in the Summer season?

Allegany Mountain Resort offers a great opportunity for those looking for a semi-permanent site to enjoy our gorgeous resort for the season. Campers can have the opportunity to enjoy your very own “always reserved campsite”. You may choose a site that will be your own, for years to come without the hassle of hauling an RV in and out during the season. Snowbirds rejoice! We have many members who stay in our resort all summer and return to Florida for the winter. Simply talk to a Member Services Representative to get more details!

My children/grandchildren are various ages. What does the Resort have that will keep them entertained?

How do I get to the Resort?

Allegany Mountain Resort at Rainbow Lake 6994 Plato Road East Otto, NY 14729 Phone: (716) 699-2352 42° 21′ 0.828″ N, 78° 42′ 0.2664″ W From the North: Take the QEW South to the Peace Bridge to USA. Take I-90 South to the I-90 interchange. Get on I-90 West and continue until you reach Exit 55 at the 219 Expressway. Take 219 to the end of Expressway. Turn right, go to the stop sign and turn LEFT. Stay on 219 South approximately 12 miles South of Springville. Watch for signs, turn right on Plato Road. From the South: From Southern Tier Expressway (Route 17): Take US 219 North approximately 10 miles to Ellicottville. Follow 219 North approximately 8 miles to Plato Rd. Turn LEFT and follow our signs.
